Dr. Shrikant Jichkar-Founder Swamini Brahmaprakasananda-Chief Acharya Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati-Paramacharya
Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati

Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati is the paramacharya and paramount trustee of the gurukulam. Swamiji, an outstanding traditional teacher of Advaita Vedanta and eminent Sanskrit Scholar, has been teaching in India and abroad for the last 40 years. One of Swamiji’s unique contributions to humanity has been designing and teaching three year resident Vedanta and Sanskrit courses. This is the fourth Gurukulam established by Swamiji in addition to the three earlier institutions of learning and culture – one each at Rishikesh in the Himalayas, Anaikatti near Coimbatore in South India and Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania in the USA. Swamiji has personally taught six resident courses, four in India and two in the United States. Each course had about sixty graduates fully committed to the preservation of this wonderful tradition. More than 250 of these graduates are engaged in imparting this sacred knowledge all over the world and have set up numerous centers of learning. Swamiji’s disciples are now teaching in the four Gurukulams established by him, in the true spirit of a live teaching tradition. After teaching Vedanta for over four decades Swamiji now fears the erosion of the person living a life of dharma (dharmi), integral for protecting sanatana dharma, due to onslaught from various sources. With this in mind he has initiated a service oriented movement called the All India Movement (AIM) for Seva (www.aimforseva.org), under the aegis of the Acharya Sabha, where the primary goal is to protect the dharmi, through various activities.
